The ongoing $19 billion transformation at JFK Airport is an extensive and vital project that will modernize New York City’s primary international gateway. The redevelopment of Terminal 6 at JFK is a critical piece of the $19 billion overhaul of the airport. Our company is currently completing full roofing and carpentry packages for Package #1, Phase two of the LIRR renovation project, which includes roofing and structural work at Locust Manor, Laurelton, St. Albans, Valley Stream, and Auburndale stations. The scope of work involves the installation of asphalt shingles, EPDM roofing, and standing seam roofs for long-term durability. We are also installing metal framing, DensGlass sheathing, and a vapor barrier on the exterior walls to ensure weather resistance. For structural integrity, we’re working on metal roof trusses, fire-retardant plywood, and timber roof framing, all aimed at enhancing the safety and longevity of the stations’ roofing systems.
