MTA-LIRR Package #1 (Phase One)

As part of Package #1 of an extensive renovation project for the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), our company successfully completed key roofing and metal work at several stations, including Massapequa Park, Amityville, Lindenhurst, and Copiague. We installed silicone roofing across 50,000 square feet, providing a durable, weather-resistant solution. Additionally, we applied EPDM roofing to 1,600 square feet, offering flexibility and long-lasting protection in critical areas of the stations.

To enhance the buildings’ longevity, our team also installed coping and metal flashing along 5,000 linear feet of roof edges,

MTA-LIRR Package #1 (Phase Two)

Our company is currently completing full roofing and carpentry packages for Package #1, Phase two of the LIRR renovation project, which includes roofing and structural work at Locust Manor, Laurelton, St. Albans, Valley Stream, and Auburndale stations. The scope of work involves the installation of asphalt shingles, EPDM roofing, and standing seam roofs for long-term durability. We are also installing metal framing, DensGlass sheathing, and a vapor barrier on the exterior walls to ensure weather resistance. For structural integrity, we’re working on metal roof trusses, fire-retardant plywood, and timber roof framing, all aimed at enhancing the safety and longevity of the stations’ roofing systems.

The Brix

At The Brix in Uniondale, the construction project involved wood framing and rough carpentry work across multiple buildings. Our team carefully installed the wood framing for each structure, ensuring a solid and durable foundation for the development. The rough carpentry phase included the construction of essential elements such as studs, beams, and sheathing, shaping the layout and framework for all the buildings. This critical work was fundamental in establishing the structural integrity and design of the residential units. The high-quality wood framing and rough carpentry contributed to the overall strength and functionality of The Brix, helping to create a modern and cohesive residential community across the multiple buildings within the development.

Fountain Gates Garden

The $115 million,129-luxury apartment Life Plan Community is a unique concept in senior living, the newest such community on Long Island, and the final piece in Gurwin’s full continuum of care for seniors. Fountaingate Gardens opened for limited occupancy in May with the completion of The Terraces residential building and the 20,000+ square-foot Clubhouse. The Parkview, the largest residential building on the complex, was the last to receive a certificate of occupancy, representing full completion of the project.

The Bristal Assisted Living at Mt.Sinai

The Bristal at Mount Sinai underwent a detailed construction process, with a focus on creating a comfortable and supportive environment for its residents. One of the key aspects of the project was the installation of wood framing throughout the facility, which provided the structural foundation for the building. This high-quality framing ensured the durability and stability of the entire structure, allowing for the creation of spacious living areas and modern amenities. Massapequa Fire Department

The EPDM roofing construction at the Massapequa Fire Department involved the installation of a durable, weather-resistant EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) roofing system. The project included the removal of the old roofing material, surface preparation, and the secure application of the EPDM membrane. At GrandStreet/The Homestead Senior Apartments in Westbury, the construction project focused on wood framing across multiple buildings within the development. Our team expertly installed the wood framing, which provided the essential structural support for the entire project.
