The EPDM roofing construction at the Massapequa Fire Department involved the installation of a durable, weather-resistant EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) roofing system. The project included the removal of the old roofing material, surface preparation, and the secure application of the EPDM membrane. This roofing system was chosen for its ability to withstand harsh weather conditions, its long lifespan, and low maintenance requirements. The completed installation improved the building’s protection against the elements, enhanced energy efficiency, and reduced long-term maintenance costs. This work was part of efforts to maintain and upgrade the fire department’s facilities for better functionality and safety.
